Perak Chief Minister: Staff Suspension Could Be the Best

Perak Chief Minsiter, Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir, has given his full support for the Perak Football Association (PAFA) when they made the call to suspend all its officials after suspecting bribery and sabotage elements in the team.

He stated that the state’s government would not compromise with anyone who took advantage for themselves in sabotaging the Perak team.

According to Sinar Harian, Zambry said: “I want to congratulate PAFA for taking a very firm action.

“I feel that this is the best action that they have ever taken.”

Zambry also mentioned that this action was approved by a lot of Perak’s fans, the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) and FIFA.

“I don’t understand why this happened even though there are people who said that it was normal.

“But I don’t think it’s normal because 6-1 gap is a lot,” he added.

Last Monday PAFA suspended all of its officials after suspecting elements of bribery when Perak team lost to Sarawak 6-1.
