Chelsea 4-1 Cardiff City: Hero Eden Hazard

Two goals from Eden Hazard ensured Chelsea swept past Cardiff despite having to come from behind

Jordon Mutch had put the Welsh side ahead after only 10 minutes, taking advantage of some poor defending from David Luiz to dink the ball past Peter Cech.

But Mourinho’s side recovered, though in bizarre circumstances. Cardiff goalkeeper David Marshall goes to bounce the ball and allowed the alert Samuel Eto’o to sneak in and poke it away before Eden Hazard eventually finished.

Samuel Eto’o put the Blues ahead just after the hour mark with his first Premier League goal.

Mourinho was sent to the stands shortly afterwards after disputing a throw in, before Oscar made it three and Hazard made it four.

The Special One’s side kept their heads to move back into second place.
